Laura is pursuing her Master of Social Work at the University of Georgia School of Social Work.

As an intern with the Embark Georgia Center, Laura supports programs serving young people who have experienced foster care. She is especially interested in working with youth involved in the justice system.

Laura also serves as Teen Textline Manager at Project Safe, where she trains and supervises student interns who respond to the organization’s crisis textline. Previously, she managed visitor services at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia.
