Winnie Levinson Scholarship

The applicant need not attend a traditional school. Enrollment at a technical school, business school, or a post-secondary school would also qualify for the scholarship. We encourage all those qualified to apply.

The following is a list of information required to process the application:

• Name, address, email address, and phone number.
• Three letters of recommendation from people who do not live with the applicant and have known the applicant for at least one year
• One recommendation from the applicant’s local DFCS (on their letterhead)
• 500-word essay on why the applicant should receive the scholarship
• high school transcript (can be a copy)
• A letter from one of the applicant’s caregivers sharing why the applicant should receive this scholarship
