Embark Georgia:  News and see you at the conference

The Embark Georgia statewide network serves post-secondary professionals and institutions to ensure connectivity, share best practices, and provide information exchange among youth, community based stakeholders, and K-12 education.

New scholarship for homeless students announced from  Kennesaw State University (KSU) Office of Development was recently posted. The closing date for an eligible individual to apply for the Homelessness Awareness 20/4/1 scholarship for Fall Semester 2014 is March 15, 2014.  The inaugural recipient will receive a stipend of $1,000 for the 2014 – 2015 academic year.  Applicants should go to http://www.kennesaw.edu/scholarships  to apply for this scholarship and to obtain additional information.

Final words to those registered for the College Connections for Student Success Conference: Embark Georgia will deliver breakout sessions 1 and 7 on the foster care track.   Several Embark partners are also presenting and we encourage you to attend as many of these sessions as possible.  We hope to connect with as many of you as possible at the conference to explore how Embark can support your work.

As always, please let us know if we can help answer any of your questions or access additional resources.
