Embark Georgia:  More to come in the New Year

The Embark Georgia Network exists to share information across Georgia in support of improved college access and success among disconnected youth in Georgia.   

Thank you for all that you do to serve foster and homeless youth in Georgia and thank you for your support of Embark Georgia.  This listserv was launched 4 months ago and the feedback has been very positive - we look forward to the exchange of more information in 2014.  If you have anything that you would like to see posted through this tool feel free to let us know.  Remember - we can connect you with information and/or technical assistance if you are interested in developing campus based programming at your institution.  We are looking forward to

As we wrap up 2013, here are a few items to share; we are looking forward to continued growth and success in 2014!

  1. The Embark Georgia Network email address has changed to the following: embark@fanning.uga.edu
  2. Here are a few resources for the holiday break courtesy of our friends at Fostering Success Michigan.  Thank you to them for this great toolkit!
  3. Please remember to register for the College Connections for Student Success Conference on February 18-18, 2014.  We would encourage all of you to try and send a representative!
  4. EMBARK Georgia would like to give a shout out to The Orange Duffel Bag Initiative and their article in last weekend's Parade Magazine article
  5. We will continue to post new research, webinar opportunities and information regarding what is happening around the state in the new year!
