Embark: Upcoming Webinars

The goal of the Embark Network is to share information across Georgia in support of improved college access and success among disconnected youth in Georgia.

This message contains two new webinar opportunities and one reminder:

  • Upcoming Webinar Tuesday, October 29, 2013 2:00 PM - 2:45 PM EDT:  Reaching New Heights through Collective Impact Strategies: Increasing Campus Support Programs for Students from Foster Care. This webinar is for Stakeholders at two to four year community/technical colleges and universities who currently do not have a campus-based support program and/or those who want to learn more about what a campus-based support program entails. Webinar reservation available here

  • Upcoming Webinar Thursday, November 14, 2013 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM EST:  The Uninterrupted Scholars Act: Promising Information-Sharing Practices.  This webinar will highlight innovative information-sharing practices to improve educational outcomes for youth in the child welfare system.  Webinar reservation available here

  • This save the date announcement from the College Access Challenge Grant leadership team at the University System office to be held in February in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

As new resources and opportunities become available, we will share them.  If there is a specific issue about which you would like to receive information, drop us a line and we will see how we can help.
