The Special Services Coordinator at South Georgia Technical College will assist youth transitioning to a higher education institution in the following ways:

• Individualized support for students in foster care

• Access to on-campus and community resources

• Serve as the liaison between the student and SGTC faculty and staff

• Assistance with academic resources including tutoring or disability services

• Support for balancing academic and personal obligations
